Mike Duckering is known for his dynamic depiction of landscape and urban spaces around Bristol and Gloucestershire, and also in the many parts of the world visited on his travels. His work reflects an emotional response to place and the abstract patterns of form and colour that become future memories.
Duckering is co-founder of the thriving Lansdown Art Studios Association in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, where he has a studio. His work is held in
private collections in the UK, USA, Canada and France, and has been shown in open submission exhibitions, including the Royal West of England
Academy and the Broadway Arts Festival.
LATEST NEWS Mike's painting Fleeting Presence Tunnel 7 (left) has been accepted for the Royal West of England Academy 168 Annual Exhibition. Listed no.142, it was shortlisted for The Academy Award Prize. The exhibition opening continues to be delayed and a new opening date is awaited.
